Eagle offers integrated solutions for the entire security chain. Geo-ICT and location based services play an important role. As with any information system, optimal use depends on the training of its users. That is why, alongside the Eagle product suite, we offer an Eagle Education suite.

For each part of the Eagle Suite an associated training is available. The programs ensure that you will know all the ins and outs of the products and that you can deploy this knowledge effectively in your daily operations.

Course overview:

• Introduction to GIS for Public Order and Safety (half day)
• Using Eagle Crisis Management Basic and Text (one day)
• Using Eagle Crisis Management Advanced (2 days)
• Using Eagle Mobile (1 half day)
• Using Eagle Planning (2 days)
• Using Eagle Inspection (1 day)
• Net Centric Work Methods (one day)
• Eagle Technical Administrator(2 days)
• Eagle Functional Administrator (2 days)

Students always follow a combination of courses, depending on their tasks and responsibilities in the crisis management organization. A standard course consists of Introduction to GIS, one of the user oriented courses and the course on Net Centric Work Methods. For administrators, it  is recommended to follow the course Introduction to GIS before enrolling in the administrator courses.

Eagle operates in Pakistan

The crisis management system Eagle will give help the Punjab province of Pakistan. The system operates to gain control of the local emergency responders to the big flood disaster. A team of volunteers of Esri Nederland and Geodan and is locally working in Lahore to install Eagle, deploy and order data. The team will also train the 40 local emergency responders.

A fire in national parks can spread rapidly, the burning dunes of Bergen did confirm. With such major calamities, communication and logistics are essential. Fire is still quenched with water, but the fire department uses more high-tech equipment for the advancing flames under control. This article (in Dutch) discribes the case.
