By signing the cooperation agreement on September 23 between Esri Nederland and Geodan, the development of the system Eagle flee to a new phase. The Public Safety Award winner will be extended the suite with a product that can be deployed across the POS sector (Public Order and Safety). With the collaboration between Esri Nederland and Geodan a lot geo-ICT skills and experience comes together.

Eagle: location as a crucial link in the security chain

Eagle focuses on linking all disciplines operating within the POS sector. It does so through a total solution in the form of a product suite. This connects all the disparate systems of prevention, inspection, and follow with each crisis. The product suite also connects to the daily work were location (and geo-information) plays a role.

Public Safety worldwide

The Eagle product suite is since April this year part of the Microsoft Citizen Safety Architecture (CSA). CSA provides an integrated vision on the theme security and concentrates on disaster relief. Eagle helps emergency services faster an unified view of a disaster. The international user group of CSA Eagle provides solutions that are scalable and can be used worldwide.

Shared vision of geographic information use

Esri Nederland and Geodan were independently active in the POS market. Cooperation at the Eagle One project led to the development of a shared vision on the sharing of geographic information and creating a shared vision that is not limited to crisis but the entire security chain.
